Bluffton’s Alyssa Burchett has the Performance of the Week for girls hoops (Feb. 4-9)

In the final girls basketball Performance of the Week fan vote for the 2018-2019 season, Bluffton’s Alyssa Burchett will take home the honor to cap off her senior season.

Burchett had a game high 15 points on Saturday morning in a 51-44 loss to North Judson-San Pierre in the Class 2A Regional. The loss ended Bluffton’s season, but not before they won their second straight Sectional title for the first time ever.

Burchett earned 33.45 percent of the fan vote, beating out Bluffton teammate Emme Boots, Carroll’s Malia Williams, Homestead’s Rylie Parker, Central Noble’s Sydney Freeman, Angola’s Hanna Knoll, Fremont’s Bella Dangerfield and Bellmont’s Grace Hunter.
