As she continues to step up as a primary contributor heading into the postseason, Snider’s Payton Gorman earned the FAN VOTE for Performance of the Week for January 21-26, sponsored by Ellen Vance of Ruoff Home Mortgage.
Gorman had a team high 16 points on Friday in a 46-37 win over Carroll. The game was important, not for the regular season, but continued big Snider momentum into the postseason where they will open with that same Carroll team.
Gorman had 32.3 percent of the final fan vote.
Other nominees included Central Noble’s Meleah Leatherman, Bishop Dwenger’s Molly Ream, South Side’s Jaci Jones, Concordia’s Carissa Garcia, Adams Central’s Lexi Smith, Norwell’s Lauren Bales, Woodlan’s Addie Bayman, Jay County’s Shelby Caldwell and Homestead’s Ayanna Patterson.
