For the 96th year, the boys ACAC Tournament will take place from January 8 through January 12. It will be the 45th year of the girls side of the tournament.
The draw took place for all 14 teams of both genders on Monday with the annual announcement and lunch in Decatur.
Bluffton was the beneficiary of the first round bye, that will be given to both the boys and girls teams. In the first round, Jay County will visit Adams Central, Woodlan travels to South Adams and Southern Wells will play at Heritage. Those games will be played on January 8 with the boys playing at each site at 6 p.m. followed by the girls game at 7:30 p.m.
The bottom team of each matchup on the accompanying bracket will serve as the home team. Championship games will be played at South Adams High School on January 12 regardless of the teams in the finals.
The ACAC Tournament is the longest running conference tournament in the state. Outside the Huddle will preview the tournament on Monday, January 7.
