After one of the biggest upsets of the entire 2018 high school football season, Bellmont’s Aaron Lehrman was selected by fan vote as the Player of the Night for Week 11, sponsored by Rico’s Barbershop.
Lehrman had six catches for 77 yards and scored the tying touchdown in the fourth quarter of the 28-21 win over Concordia in sectional semi final play.
He received just under 29 percent of the fan vote.
Other nominees included the Angola defense, Snider’s Jon Barnes Jr., Adams Central’s Parker Bates, Bishop Luers’ Justin Gaston, Wayne’s Devonair Kelsaw, West Noble’s Brandon Pruitt, Bluffton’s Everett Johnson, Carroll’s Camdyn Childers and Homestead’s Jake Archbold.
Voting for the Outside the Huddle Player of the Night for prep football opens each Saturday morning and runs through the following Monday night with the winner being announced each Tuesday on OutsidetheHuddle.net
