Columbia City’s Gregory Bolt is Week 6’s Player of the Night

From start to finish, Columbia City’s Gregory Bolt was the guy to beat in the Week 6 Player of the Night Poll sponsored by Rico’s Barbershop.

Bolt registered 36 percent of the over 1,300 fan votes to become the third player named an Outside the Huddle Player of the Night and first from the Northeast Conference.

Bolt earns the honor after he threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 42 yards in a big conference win over New Haven that keeps the Eagles’ hopes in the NE8 alive heading into week 7 and a visit to conference unbeaten East Noble.

Other nominees included Central Noble’s Jesse Jacobs, Bluffton’s Everett Johnson, Wayne’s Tristan Pernell, West Noble’s Brandon Pruitt, Bishop Luers’ Jordan Presley, the Bishop Dwenger defense, Adam Central’s Logan Macklin and Carroll’s Gaven Vogt.

Voting for the Outside the Huddle Player of the Night for prep football opens each Saturday morning and runs through the following Monday night with the winner being announced each Tuesday on OutsidetheHuddle.net
